Our TI-99 on CNN
CNN.com has a site called “iReport” where regular clowns like me can submit stories/photos about goings-on in the world. Funny Money
The name of the Albanian currency is the “lek.” If you believe Wikipedia, it’s named for Alexander the Great, which is weird. A guy just came to my door asking if there was a blahblahblah downstairs or upstairs. I responded that I didn’t understand, and he politely excused himself. I looked up the word in the dictionary and it either means “fig tree” or “fire extinguisher.” Let’s hope it was “fig tree”.
