A munitions dump north of Tirana exploded on Saturday. (story) I live about 30km away, and I felt the explosion. I felt a noticeable air pressure change and heard a deep thump and the windows rattled. It was definitely an explosion, but I couldn’t see anything. As of Monday, they’re still looking for victims, and they say that there could have been dozens killed, including some Americans who were working there on the ammo disposal project.
